Hello, welcome to the House of DIY.

I’m your DIY Coach. (No, I’m not here to help you paint the bedroom ceiling. Although if there’s a business idea in there, I’m all ears!) I’m your Do It Yourself Coach; here to talk and walk you through taking control of your business and your brand.

I’m here to help you through the uncertain territory of going DIY (working for yourself and setting up a business). From brand building and PR & marketing, to navigating those difficult moments of fear and self-sabotage. I’ll help you find your voice and tell your story.

I can help you because I’ve been in your shoes.

Over the course of my career I have:

  • Left a comfortable senior agency job (during a recession and in one of the most expensive cities in the world!) to start a business I was passionate about, and to inject some agency into my life.

  • Become respected for championing independent people and brands. House of DIY is an amalgamation of my love for brand building, mentoring and the culture of DIY.

  • Activated brand comms for many lifestyle brands, from restaurants and gin brands, to charities and an International art fair!

  • Placed coverage for my clients in the Financial Times, The Observer, The Guardian, Vogue, BBC, Grazia, The Wall Street Journal & hundreds more titles.

  • Embodied the DIY spirit for the majority of my career, I’ve always had a side hustle (I won a journalism award at age 18 for a magazine I produced on my gap year), and finally went freelance at the age of 26.

  • Launched a successful PR company, Brick, in the very competitive music industry; working with festivals, mobile apps and pop stars.

  • Delivered talks and workshops for platforms such as The Ultimate Seminar, SheSaidSo, Livity, Day of the Girl, The Rattle, The Youth Marketing Academy at venues such as Southbank Centre, The O2 and Shoreditch House.

  • Been appointed an industry-expert at the University of West London, teaching across Career Development, PR, Marketing and Advertising.
